Ring in 2025 in spectacular fashion at The Exchange TRX!

Our New Year’s Eve Countdown Party promises an unforgettable evening filled with live performances, indulgent dining, late-night shopping, and a stunning display of fireworks and laser shows — all while supporting Kechara Soup Kitchen and its vital work with Malaysia's Indigenous communities.

The evening's star-studded lineup will be headlined by Canadian singer-songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, and record producer Henry Lau, known for his work as a member of Super Junior-M, along with American indie-pop duo Capital Cities, famed for their multi-platinum hit 'Safe and Sound.’

Adding to the excitement is a showcase of Malaysia’s finest musical talent. P A L E N C I A will bring their unique folk music to the crowd while Saint Kylo will put on a high-octane and energetic live performance. Also joining the lineup is Yuji ft. Putri Dahlia, performing their hit song, which has garnered over 163 million Spotify streams and earned a Malaysia Book of Records title.

The energy continues with performances by genre-blending artist NYK and the ever-popular Daiyan Trisha, known for her vocal prowess and creative versatility. Fans of hip-hop can expect electrifying sets from Def Jam Presents: Joe Flizzow & SonaOne, as well as high-energy hits from Malaysia's own K-Town Clan. Closing the night are Aidaho b2b Ashley Lau — who will keep the momentum alive after the midnight fireworks display.

Free Admission for All; Supporting a Worthy Cause

Admission is free on a first-come, first-served basis. To ensure a smooth and secure experience, capacity controls and security screenings will be in place. Early arrival is highly recommended for the best access. 

In the spirit of giving, we are proud to partner with Kechara Soup Kitchen for the “Do Good, Feel Good” initiative. We highly encourage contributions to this meaningful cause, which supports food distribution efforts and outreach to Malaysia's Indigenous communities, through the Food Mission campaign.

Donations can be made easily on-site via through Kechara’s official website with payment reference ‘TRXNYE’.

Plan Ahead: Key Information

Gates open at 4:30 PM, with live performances starting at 5:00 PM. Entry queues will begin at 12:00 PM, and security checks with capacity controls will be in place to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all attendees. 

Operating Hours: 

The Exchange TRX: 10:00 AM – 1:00 AM
Dining Terrace: 10:00 AM – 1:00 AM
TRX City Park: 8:00 AM – 1:00 AM (temporarily closed from 2:30 PM – 4:30 PM for event preparations)

Getting There: 

MRT: The Kajang and Putrajaya Lines will run extended hours until 3:00 AM. Remember to bring your Touch ‘n Go!

Ride-Hailing: If you're using Grab or other ride-hailing services, be sure to use the designated pick-up and drop-off points at ‘TRX Mall Valet’ and the ‘MRT Plaza Entrance’.

Different Zones, Different Experiences

Experience the countdown from two distinct vantage points, each offering a unique perspective on the festivities. All access is on a first-come, first-served basis, with capacity limits in place.

Raintree Plaza: The heart of the action, where guests can immerse themselves in live performances, breathtaking fireworks, and dazzling laser shows, all set against a vibrant festival atmosphere. The plaza features two dedicated zones:

General Zone – Open to all guests, offering prime views of the main stage performances and an electric festival ambience.

Members Zone – Exclusive to all Lendlease Plus MY loyalty members, offering premium access near the main stage for an up-close experience of the performances.

TRX City Park: A family-friendly space open to the public, TRX City Park offers a scenic setting where guests of all ages can soak in the festive atmosphere. For a more elevated experience, Lendlease Plus MY members can access the exclusive Viewing Lawn at Sunlight Plaza, which provides panoramic views of the fireworks and a live broadcast of the performances below. Access to this exclusive area requires verification via the The Exchange TRX mobile app at the entry point, after which guests will be issued a wristband for entry.

Event Guidelines

Entry

• IC/Passport checks will be conducted to verify age. Please bring along Photo ID with your name and date of birth.
• It is not recommended for children under 12 to attend the event.
• Individuals below the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult, with one adult per child.
• Please note that there will be bag checks for security reasons.
• Once you are cleared for entry you will receive a wristband. This will allow you to re-enter the premises again.

Prohibited Items

Storage will not be provided on-site. You will be required to dispose of these items before entering.

Please note that there will be security checks (metal detector scan and bag check). 

Organisers retain the authority to deny entry to any item not explicitly listed, if deemed potentially dangerous or disruptive to ensure a secure and enjoyable environment for all.
